6ES7972-0AA02-0XA0 – RS485 PROFIBUS/MPI repeater 12 Mbit/s is an RS485 repeater for PROFIBUS and MPI bus systems. It regenerates the signal and separates network segments, supporting up to 31 nodes and transmission rates up to 12 Mbit/s.
The 0AA02 model is the successor to 6ES7972-0AA01-0XA0. When modernizing an installation, verify the existing bus wiring, 24 V DC supply and connections for both bus segments.
