6ES7972-0AA01-0XA0 – RS485 PROFIBUS/MPI repeater 12 Mbit/s is an RS485 repeater for PROFIBUS and MPI bus systems. It regenerates the bus signal and separates network segments, supporting transmission rates up to 12 Mbit/s and up to 31 nodes per segment.
The 0AA01 version was superseded by 6ES7972-0AA02-0XA0. For replacement in an existing installation, check the 24 V DC supply, bus wiring and mechanical/electrical compatibility with the newer version.
